DNA to Host Public Relations Workshop for Nonprofits on November 16

Greenville, S.C. (October 27, 2011) – DNA Creative Communications (DNA) continues its 2011 “Shine the Light on Your Nonprofit” educational series with its fourth and final session of the year, “Power Surge: ‘Pitching Your PR’ Bootcamp.” The seminar will take place on November 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at CU-ICAR, located at 4 Research Drive in Greenville. This half-day, interactive workshop will equip participating nonprofits around the Upstate with essential tools and insight to propel their public relations and communications strategies forward. Organizations will learn how to build and foster media relationships, as well as the importance of creating and implementing a crisis communications plan. The seminar will also feature expert discussions with local media professionals, along with facilitated case-study scenarios led by the DNA team.
